3. Under Student Usernames click MyLSCO Login ID
4. Login by using your campus ID number from the front of your picture ID. PIN is your birthdate as mmddyy. Note: If your birthdate does not work or if you are prompted to change your PIN, go to the admissions office and ask them to correct the error. Your PIN should be your correct birthdate. Click Process.
5. Your username and password will be presented on the "Logon Credentials" page. Print your original password and save it. Highlight/copy your password.
6. On that same screen click Password Change. Your original password has a limited number of uses, and is not intended to be your actual password, so do not wait to change your password.
7. Read the policy statement on the screen below and decide on your new password. Passwords are case sensitive. You need at least 8 characters, you cannot use your name, and 3 out of 4 of the policy items listed. For example, you might use all lowercase letters, a number, and a special character, or one uppercase, the rest lowercase and a number, or another combination, something you can easily memorize.
8. Click "Change Password Form." Type lo\ in front of your username in the first box, (for example: lo\jnsmith for John N. Smith) and paste the original password in the next box. Type your new password and retype your new password in the third and fourth boxes. Click OK. It should say "You have successfully changed your password." Try logging into MyLSC-O.
9. For any problems, first come to the library or learning center for help or contact the campus computer helpdesk at (409) 882-3033 or e-mail helpdesk@lsco.edu The most common error message occurs when the password has expired and needs to be reset. This reset can only be done by the computer helpdesk. All passwords expire in 90 days, so track your expiration date on your MyLSC-O home page.
