Use the Catalog to Renew Checked Out Books
Renewing Books
The library charges late fees daily for overdue books or videos. Failure to either return items or pay late fees will cause registration to be blocked and transcripts withheld. The library catalog provides an easy way to renew library materials on or before their due dates. However, if someone else has requested the book by placing a "hold" on it, the book cannot be renewed, and a message will let users know this fact.
To renew a book from within the Library Catalog:
- Click My Account on the top menu bar
- Click Renew My Materials. If you only want to see your list of checked-out items click Review My Materials.
Login:
- Supply your campus-wide ID (CWID) number (the number on the front of your student ID card)
- PIN is your birthday as mmddyy (unless you have changed it)
- A screen appears showing your checked-out items with their due dates. Check the items that need to be renewed.
- A confirmation screen appears showing the new due dates.
