Use the Catalog to Renew Checked Out Books

Renewing Books: The library catalog provides an easy way to renew library materials on or before their due dates. However, if someone else has requested the book by placing a "hold" on it, the book cannot be renewed, and a message will let users know this fact. To renew a book in the Library Catalog:

1. Click My Account on the top menu bar

2. Click Renew My Materials.

Login:

1. Supply your campus-wide ID number from the front of your student ID card.

2. PIN is your birthday as mmddyy (unless you have changed it)

Some students may have the older ID card, without the black magnetic strip on the back. These cards have a barcode number above a barcode. If so, use your barcode number. Your PIN is changeme unless you have changed it. We are currently phasing out this older login method. Call (409) 882-3982 with any problems.
